Working at Heights-Refresher (M.O.L Learner # & PPE Required)

The Working at Heights Refresher provides participants who have already completed and MOL/CPO-approved working at heights course with a refresher course in the basics of implementing fall protection systems at their workplaces. Participants receive up-to-date information on the legislative requirements of fall protection, including how to recognize and control fall hazards. Participant’s will practice identifying deficiencies while inspecting fall protection equipment.
NOTICE:
You must provide the Learner ID number found on your M.O.L-issued WAH proof of completion at the time of registration. Replacement cards can be requested by calling the Ministry of Labour Contact Centre at 1-877-202-0008. Participants must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to attend Working at Heights Refresher training. (Hard Hat, Work Boots & Safety Glasses)
Program Content
This course combines classroom learning and hands-on activities. Topics include:
- The Fall Protection Hierarchy
- Hazards Elimination/Guardrails/Barriers
- Fall Protection Systems
- Work Access Equipment and Platforms
Duration: 1/2 day – Expires 3 years from date of certification

You must show proof of previous Ontario Approved Working at Heights training in the last 3 years to attend.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for this training (hard hat, work boots & safety glasses).
